Regional League

Previously called Pre-Competitive, our Regional League is ideal for swimmers who are keen to explore the competitive side of synchronized swimming. A slight increase from our recreational program, swimmers in our pre-competitive program practice 4 hours per week. Building on basic skills and techniques, swimmers will work to develop the fundamental artistic swimming concepts crucial to athlete development in the pre-competitive and provincial competitive streams.

Our pre-competitive program centres around four key areas of athlete development:

  • Strength

  • Stamina

  • Flexibility

  • Teamwork

More time in the water working with our coaches allows pre-competitive swimmers to increase their skills and develop confidence in their artistic swimming skills. Pre-competitive swimmers also work with their teammates and coaches to develop a routine which is competed at a spring Regional Competition and a year-end Regional Competition.
